The location of this hostel is fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. We were able to easily walk to bus stops, shops, restaurants, and even a mall. The convenience was unbeatable.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks such as the lack of storage space for clothes and the need to rent towels, overall I can confidently say that this hostel is worth recommending. The positives far outweigh the negatives, and we truly enjoyed our time here.

We had a fantastic weekend at the hostel. The location was superb, right in the heart of town. The room we stayed in was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. We loved the historic charm of the building and the reading room was a cozy spot to relax in. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, even though it was a bit small during peak times. The free coffee and tea were a nice touch. we had a great stay and would recommend the hostel to others.

the beds were clean and comfy, although they were a bit small for taller guests who bumped their heads on the bunk. the shower was small but clean. the staff were nice and helpful, and the kitchen was a good size and conveniently located within the building. I appreciated being allowed to stay in the common area after checkout, especially since it was cold outside. a great experience and would highly recommend. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 👌.

Great location, just a 10-minute walk from both the train and bus stations and close to Dundee Square and all the shops. the room was basic but comfortable, with good heating and lockers. - the hostel had communal amenities, including toilets, showers, a kitchen, lounges, and a TV room. - the building itself was interesting, with stairways and doors leading to music and billiards games rooms. - the beds were comfortable, although I wasn't used to bunk beds. - Dundee has a lot of Christmas festivities and interesting architecture.
Felt very welcome, with nothing being too much trouble.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel in the heart of the city. the location was perfect, with beautiful views of the building every morning. the room was spacious and comfortable, and I had the added bonus of an ensuite bathroom, although there was a small issue with the lightbulb. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. I also enjoyed the convenience of being close to various restaurants and shops. a great experience!
There was an issue with the lightbulb in the ensuite bathroom.

Stayed here over Christmas with friends and it was a fantastic experience. the building has so much character, with unique architecture and a great central location. Had a blast playing snooker and board games in the large games room. Kitchen was fully equipped with free tea and coffee and ample fridge space. Plus, the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The multiple flights of stairs were a bit of a workout, so not ideal for those with mobility issues. towels needed to be rented and no hairdryers were available.

The immediate vicinity was decent with some dining options. the location was close to shops and right in the city centre. the room was clean and had an ensuite bathroom with a shower. the staff was welcoming and helpful. the games room had a snooker table and dart board, which were great for some entertainment.
The bed was too soft and not so comfortable.

Stayed in a hostel for new year's eve and the location was great, just minutes away from the supermarket and fast food chains. The staff was really kind and helpful, they provided us with a lot of valuable information about the area. The common rooms were very well equipped with games, a pool table, and video games which made our stay more pleasant.
The noise level from other guests was over the top, my friends and I never got any rest at all. The walls are too thin and do not provide any soundproofing.

Great location in the heart of the city, close to public transportation and attractions. The hostel is in a converted old building with interesting historical features. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms. Friendly staff and all necessary facilities available.
Difficult to find the entrance, tucked between two stores. Limited options for room selection, can only change if upgrading or downgrading.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
